Put Google Form responses on Google Calendar
If people book with a Google Form, every response is already a row in a sheet. ScheduleRow turns those rows into calendar events, and new responses follow on their own.
Steps
- In the Form, under Responses, choose Link to Sheets. Ask for a date (a Date question) and, if you need one, a time (a Time question).
- Open the responses sheet and choose Extensions → ScheduleRow → Open.
- Map the columns: the name question as the title, the date and time questions, and the email question as the contact, if you want reminders sent.
- Press Save and sync.
Why this works when other tools miss it
Many sheet-to-calendar tools wait for someone to edit the sheet. A Form response isn't an edit by a person, so it's missed. ScheduleRow notices any change to the sheet from its own server, within about a minute, so responses sync like any other row.
Tips
- Add a Status column to the responses sheet; typing Cancelled there takes a booking off the calendar.
- Choose the time zone your Form's times mean in the sidebar.
